Lance Day is a music industry professional, educator, and advocate whose lifelong passion for music began at an early age. After receiving a toy piano as a child, Lance quickly developed a love for creating sound, later studying clarinet in the fourth grade and expanding to flute, saxophone, and other instruments. Influenced by his teachers, Lance attended the Crane School of Music, where his passion for both music and education deepened. After interning at a recording studio in Los Angeles, he returned to New York and built a strong foundation in music retail with Music & Arts, gaining valuable insight into the needs of educators and students. In 2018, Lance joined D’Addario, where he has held several leadership roles supporting band and orchestral markets. As Education Market Development Manager, he works closely with educators and industry partners to expand access to music education.
