Wally's Hydeout

Scott McDowell  has always enjoyed the social element of making music. As a student, he played trumpet and sang in the choir. He also fell into computer design at an early age and was designing websites in the late 1990s. He attended Berklee College of Music to focus solely on music in hope of escaping tech, but instead found harmony in merging both skills. After returning to San Francisco he found his way into an internship at Hyde Street Studios and by 2007 he became a partner in Wally’s HydeOut, a studio within the Hyde Street Studios complex. He has a deep love for the Hyde Street community as well as the neighborhood, a feeling he tries to convey to all of the interns, visitors, and staff alike.
