Dave Pensado

Dave Pensado cares very much about the history of his craft and sharing it!  Dave is the award winning recording engineer who worked on products with Michael Jackson, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and many others.  With a deep passion and knowledge of the gear and process of engineering, Dave and his friend Herb Trawick created a weekly show called Pensado’s Place, which began in 2011.  The program is designed to educate young engineers on the gear as well as giving credit to those who came before us to honor the pioneers of the industry.
