David Davidson
David Davidson’s uncle, Bill Nemo, was a professional drummer who opened a small music store on Long Island, New York in 1966. David was exposed to all sorts of instruments at an early age and for as long as he can remember, he was fascinated with the guitar. He learned all he could about vintage guitars and in 1994 he was hired by Sam Ash to develop a vintage department in the famous Manny’s Music store in New York City. David and his business partner, Richard Freeman, opened We Buy Guitars in New York, which was later renamed Well Strung Guitars. In 2013, David was on the team that created Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he serves as the curator.
