Terry West

Terry West played in bands as a kid and wanted to be more involved with music as he grew up. As things sometimes go, Terry was sidetracked when he landed a job at an advertisement company. It was a good job and turned out to be the perfect training for his next job when he was hired to worked for Pearl Drums. Terry was hired by Walt Johnson in 1987 in the advertisement department but soon grew into designing their NAMM Show booths and assisting with marketing. Terry became Vice President in 1992, the Executive Vice President of Operations in 2004, and President and CEO in 2008. Along the way his ads helped launch the many innovative Pearl products and he assembled a well-respected team, which like Terry, are dedicated to getting their instruments in the hands of professional musicians and students alike.
