At the height of the Beatle boom, his OEM factory produced more than 15,000 guitars each month, helping meet the growing international demand for electric instruments. Yuichiro established Fujigen Gakki in 1960 with a vision of building instruments to the highest standard, naming the company after Mt. Fuji as a symbol of excellence. His dedication and craftsmanship helped position Japan as a leading force in guitar production worldwide. He attended his first NAMM Show in 1965 in Chicago and remained a regular participant as his business grew and strengthened its export presence. Yuichiro passed away at the age of 98, leaving an enduring legacy within the global music products industry.
