Norwood Fisher and his brothers, along with Angelo Moore, formed a high-energy punk and ska band in 1979. Their first gig was at the legendary Madame Wong’s in Los Angeles’s Chinatown. Initially named Megatron, they later changed their name to Fishbone—partly inspired by their love for soup and their family name.
