Guy Charbonneau - 2015

Guy Charbonneau is the founder of Le Mobile, the remote recording studio known for recording artists such as Van Morrison, U2, Prince, Alicia Keys and AC/DC to name but five. Guy’s first truck was built in 1974 and a few years later he built his second truck, which played a big part in the recording of music throughout The United States and Canada for over 40 years. The key elements of his production within the truck include the Studers and Neve board, but mostly, Guy’s understanding and skill of mixing and maintaining the grit and feel of the music being played. Over the years Guy has been awarded several TEC Awards including one for Outstanding Remote Recording Engineer.
