Howard Lieberman

Howard Lieberman began playing the guitar at the age of 6. A decade later he saw Jimi Hedrix in concert - an event which forever changed him. By the time he was seventeen, Howard was recoding in Jimi’s Electric Lady Studios in New York. After attending Brooklyn College and earning a degree in physics, Howard began looking for ways to create music using the computer. In 1985 he presented his idea of having speakers within a computer to Bose and Apple, an idea that both companies thought was crazy. Yet, a year later, Bose hired Howard to help them develop products. He worked at Bose from 1980 until 1990, doing some consulting for JBL along the way. He was then hired by Apple for several years before creating his own firm that provided demos for trade shows such as NAMM for a host of audio companies.
