Paula Salvatore is a legendary studio manager whose journey from Rhode Island to Los Angeles embodies her dual passions for music and fashion. Initially moving to LA to pursue fashion design during the Disco and Rock eras of the late 1970’s, Paula’s unique flair led her to work with fashion designers who created clothes and costumes for the likes of bands such as Casablanca Records rock band Angel. This opportunity introduced her to studio sessions and parties, where she connected with musicians, producers, and engineers, including mentor Rose Mann Cherney. Her exceptional ability to provide artists with outstanding service and advice led her to work at renowned studios such as Kendun, Sound City and Capitol, contributing to some of the era’s biggest hit recordings. Paula’s profound love for the recording process and dedication to supporting artists in capturing their unique style and sound culminated in establishing her own consulting firm. Her illustrious career includes serving as Vice President of Capitol Studios and later as Vice President of Client Relations and Studio Marketing at Universal Music Group. In her new role as Music Consultant, she continues to inspire and support recording artists, producers, and engineers.
