Tana Douglas

Tana Douglas wrote a book about her life in Live Sound, released in 2022, entitled LOUD: A life in rock n’ roll by the world’s first female roadie. The title leaves out the fact that she is so much more than a roadie, having built her career from the bottom to the top and becoming a leading expert on Pro Lighting for Live Sound events and having worked with the likes of The Who, Blood Sweat & Tears, Elton John and Ozzie Osbourne among many others. She pioneered techniques in lighting and her ideas for improving the way lighting is installed, used and maintained has inspired several commercial products that have become standards in the industry. With her many contributions she still proudly refers to herself as a roadie!
