Percussion Innovators Return in Force for The 2026 NAMM Show
Each January, every musical product community brings its best to The NAMM Show. In 2026, percussion innovators are set to make a notably strong return, marking a meaningful and exciting comeback.
Buyers, artists, content creators and industry pros will be drawn to the rhythms of Hall C, where percussion makers plan to showcase their latest offerings. Live product demos, performances by nationally and internationally known artists, and private receptions will all be part of the mix.
Daniela Vogl at percussion manufacturer Meinl says The NAMM Show enables the brand to strengthen the community, drawing percussionists and drummers together.
“As Meinl, we look forward to NAMM’s unique, inspiring atmosphere that connects and energizes,” says Vogl. “We’re excited to reunite with the music-making community and to feel that extraordinary energy once again.”
Pearl, the percussion instrument innovator based in Japan, feels that same energy too. Nick Lemon, marketing events manager at Pearl, says their brand is excited to return to reconnect with their global network — and to celebrate Pearl’s 80th anniversary.
The show, says Lemon, “will serve as a strong event — a three-day gathering featuring our top, high-profile players and artists.”
With 2026’s strong percussion presence, Lemon says he hopes attendees will takeaway “exciting artist performances and spreading the SNS [social networking services] buzz as much as possible.”
Vogl expressed Meinl’s wish for the show’s impact: “We hope that the powerful presence of percussion will inspire visitors to actively experience music and feel the joy it brings.”
Here’s a look at the percussion community you can expect at the show. Be sure to keep your eyes on The 2026 NAMM Show map for the latest updates.
