Hailey Earp grew up in a musical home, inspired by her father, who played guitar and taught her to play as well. The two often performed together in church, and he even introduced her to the music of Pink Floyd. Hailey always loved singing, and learning to play guitar deepened her personal expression through music. In 2015, she joined Guitar Center, later moving to Chicago to manage a local branch. She went on to lead customer service at Reverb before joining Candyman Strings & Things in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she now serves as Chief Operating Officer.

David Kalt remembers, with a smile, the Fender Stratocaster he dreamed of as a kid. He also recalls that great day in 1985 when he finally got a 1970s Strat! The instrument has a special place in his own passion for music, an idea and feeling he never forgot. In fact, it was that passion for musical instruments that inspired him to create Reverb. Founding two successful software companies—one dedicated to the travel industry and one for trading options—gave him the experience he needed to ultimately form  a site dedicated to musical instruments.

David Mandelbrot is CEO at Reverb, a position he accepted in 2020. The journey to Reverb was an interesting and fortuitous voyage. He was born in San Francisco and earned his law degree at Duke University and a degree in business administration at the University of California at Berkeley. Mallory Nees learned to harmonize at a young age, thanks to her parents, who both had a passion for music. They purchased Mallory a keyboard when she was 7 years old to prepare her for piano lessons. Her father, David, is a guitarist who taught her to play when she was nine. During the 6th grade, she progressed to the electric guitar and joined a few middle school punk bands. By graduation, she was an accomplished classical and jazz vocalist.
