Dick Christian has spent his entire career in the piano and organ business and has made many friends along the way. His support for the industry led him to the role as president of the National Piano Travelers Association. Having worked retail before joining the teams of Thomas, Baldwin, Wurlitzer and Samick, Dick has a great understanding of the role a salesman can fill for both supplier and dealer and works to help both from his position.  

Robert J. Jones traveled on a tour bus with his father and sang gospel music together for many years as the Song Fellows. They recorded for Homeland Records in Nashville and performed around the country. In 1957, Robert’s father opened Valley Music Company in Bakersfield, CA, where Robert worked until attending college in the mid 1960s. The company expanded to a second location in southern California, where Robert was introduced to the Thomas Organ Company. The store sold the instruments for several years.

Jane Jones began her career as a piano technician while working in music retail.  She noticed pianos in the repair shop lined up and wanted to do all she could to get those instruments back in the home making music.  She began teaching herself as a tuner and soon joined the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) to take classes and gain her certification.  Since that time she has been a strong supporter of the guild and has worked both as a technician as well as on the manufacturer’s side of the business.  Jane is the current Service Manager for Samick Piano Company.

Jerry Muenchow a veteran of the music industry worked in music retail for five years before joining the famed Chicago Musical Instrument Company (CMI) as a field sales representative in Michigan. Jerry held that position for 10 years before becoming a Regional Sales Manager for Fender Musical Instruments for the East Coast. He later became an Independent Sales Rep in the Southeast United States representing Guild guitars among several other prestigious lines over the next 6 years.
