Chris Casello is a rockabilly guitarist, songwriter, producer, and vocalist whose career reflects a lifelong dedication to roots music and guitar tradition. Raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan — a city rich with jazz and blues festivals — Chris was immersed in live music from an early age, performing in local clubs as a teenager and learning directly from the vibrant regional music scene. He began guitar lessons in 1973 at the renowned Herb David Guitar Studio, later returning as an instructor and mentor to new generations of players. Initially rooted in rock and country music, Chris ultimately found his artistic home in rockabilly, blending styles into a distinctive sound grounded in classic American roots music. In his forties, he relocated to Nashville, where he built lasting musical relationships and became closely connected with the Carter and Cash families — a meaningful chapter in his career. Since 2007, Chris has toured internationally as guitarist for Carlene Carter while maintaining an active career as a recording artist and producer. A TV Jones endorsed artist and Rockabilly Hall of Fame inductee, Chris continues to celebrate and advance the spirit of rockabilly music.
