Job Title
Co-Founder

Woodchester Piano

Christopher Willcox began his professional life as a classical actor on the British stage and also worked as a teacher and writer, but he often described his favorite role as that of a piano salesman. His career in the piano industry spanned more than five decades and included his work with the Norlin company before he established Woodchester Pianos and developed his own line of instruments. Beginning in 2012, Christopher became associated with Niall McClean of Monaghan Music and Piano Centre in Ireland, while continuing to sell used Yamaha pianos and new Steinhoven pianos in the United Kingdom. His enduring enthusiasm for the piano business reflected his belief in the positive impact music can have on individuals and families. As Christopher once explained, “Providing music in someone’s life is a pleasure because I know it will brighten not only their lives but those of their family and friends.” His passion for connecting people with pianos remained a hallmark of his long and distinguished career.
