Clem Burk is the rock drummer who has played with the group Blondie since 1975, a year after the band was formed. With the band, Clem played on all of the band's tours and hit records such as “Heart of Glass,” “Call Me,” “The Tide Is High,” and “Rapture,” just to name their number one hits. The band continues to record and perform around the world. Clem also performed with a number of artists and bands over the years including with the Ramones, under the name Elvis Ramone, and the Romantics for which Clem became their regular drummer in the 1990s. Influenced by studio musician Hal Blaine, Clem was among those who spoke when the city of Palm Springs unveiled their newest Walk of Star, honoring his musical hero and friend.
