Daniel Tomlinson

Daniel Tomlinson was giving drum lessons when he was 13 years old and grew up in his family’s music store, California Keyboards in Bakersfield, California. In addition, as a teenager, Daniel ran sound for his church, which led to his real passion for sound engineering. Meanwhile, back at the store, his father taught him the art of piano tuning, skills he soon picked up and enjoyed. In fact, you may see Daniel in the store hours before it opens tuning pianos. While his father began to slowly retire, Daniel learned the role of manager and steps in to help whenever needed to run and grow the business, which his father proudly states is a second-generation family-run music store.
