Job Title
Musician, Bassist

Haini Wolfgramm grew up in a large musical family whose roots traced back to Tonga, where music, dance, and family celebrations played an important role in daily life. His father loved playing the ukulele while his mother enjoyed traditional Polynesian dancing, and together they encouraged their children to perform music as a family. Determined to support their musical dreams, Haini’s father purchased 13 instruments from a local music store so the children could form a band together. Through years of rehearsals, talent shows, weddings, park performances, and club appearances, the family developed into The Jets, one of the most successful pop groups of the 1980s. Haini performed as the band’s bassist and vocalist, sharing lead vocals with his sister Elizabeth Wolfgramm on the Grammy-nominated hit “Rocket 2 U.” The Jets went on to earn eight Top 10 pop hits, perform internationally, and appear at major events including the Olympic Games. Haini remains deeply proud of his family’s musical legacy and continues performing with The Jets in Las Vegas while also celebrating the next generation of music makers, including his own 14 children who formed a family band together.
