Kevin Damm

Kevin Damm has held a deep passion for music for as long as he can remember. Inspired by his older brother’s band, he joined in on drums alongside his younger brother, igniting a lifelong dedication to the craft. After earning a comprehensive music education degree from the University of Kansas, he spent a year as a band director, where he came to appreciate the dependable, knowledgeable support of local music store road reps. That experience sparked the idea for his own venture, and in 2003, he opened a small, community-focused music store in Wichita. What began as a modest combo shop soon expanded to offer in-house lessons, expert repairs, and a growing selection of instruments and gear, eventually branching into band and orchestra offerings. Kevin finds daily fulfillment in building authentic connections with customers, understanding firsthand the vital role that friendly, responsive service plays in a musician’s journey.
