Mark Malbon enjoyed a distinguished career as a financial executive before entering the music products industry in 1993. As Audit Partner at Deloitte & Touche, he was a forward-thinking leader who championed the evolving role of financial advisors and contributed to industry standards while serving at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Mark joined Roland Corporation as Chief Financial Officer and went on to serve as Executive Vice President, COO and a valued member of the Board of Directors, ultimately dedicating 20 years to the company. His time at Roland was marked by strategic leadership and lasting relationships, including his close friendship with industry veteran Dennis Houlihan. One of Mark’s favorite memories is meeting his wife, jazz artist Peggy Duquesnel, at the Nashville NAMM Show—a moment he and Peggy fondly attribute to Dennis. Mark’s legacy in the industry is defined not only by his financial acumen but also by the personal connections and meaningful moments that music helped create.
