Noah East is a pianist, organist, composer, and emerging artist whose musical journey has been shaped by both deep personal passion and the extraordinary environment in which he was raised. Growing up in a home filled with music, Noah speaks openly about the joy and blessing of learning firsthand from his father, legendary bassist Nathan East, whose influence helped nurture Noah’s musical curiosity, discipline, and love for collaboration from an early age. Developing his own artistic identity, Noah has cultivated a strong connection to jazz, soul, and contemporary music traditions. He has expressed particular admiration for the innovative design and expressive possibilities of the Hammond B3 organ, an instrument that continues to inspire his exploration of tone, texture, and improvisation. A defining early milestone in Noah’s career came with the thrill of performing at Tokyo’s renowned Blue Note jazz club, an experience that affirmed his place on the international stage and deepened his commitment to performance and musical storytelling. In a meaningful recent collaboration, Noah joined his father to record the album Father Son, celebrating both musical heritage and the shared language of family through music. As he continues to grow as a performer and composer, Noah East represents a new generation of musicians who honor tradition while embracing innovation, carrying forward a legacy of artistry, humility, and musical connection.
