Roger Palmateer played an important role in the success and growth of Fullerton Music, one of Southern California’s most respected community music stores. A few years after Mo Palmateer purchased the business, Roger joined her in building a welcoming destination for musicians of all ages and skill levels. Together, they fostered a vibrant musical community by offering quality instruments, music lessons, live performances, and exceptional customer service. Roger oversaw the upkeep and maintenance of the historic building while also managing the store’s accounting and business operations. His steady leadership and dedication behind the scenes complemented Mo’s vision, helping Fullerton Music become a beloved gathering place for generations of musicians. Like Mo, Roger found great joy in coming to work each day, where his passion for serving customers and supporting music making reflected the enduring spirit of the independent music retailer.
