Sandra Jordan is a strategic communications leader with more than 30 years of experience guiding mission-driven organizations through complex communications challenges to strengthen brand integrity and advance meaningful social impact. Raised in a classically trained musical family and a clarinetist in her youth, Sandra’s lifelong connection to music and arts education has deeply informed her professional path. At the NAMM Foundation, Sandra played a pivotal role in Public Affairs and Government Relations, helping elevate national conversations around music education and arts advocacy. Her work focused on strategic planning, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement, translating high-level policy and business objectives into actionable communications frameworks that advanced NAMM’s mission across diverse constituencies. Sandra’s leadership also includes spearheading social impact programs for Sesame Workshop and serving as a trusted advisor to national and international organizations across the media, arts, education, and nonprofit sectors. She is particularly skilled at aligning organizational vision with clear, compelling messaging across film, audio, print, and digital platforms. Sandra serves as a Public Relations Specialist for the Music Performance Trust Fund and as Strategic Communications Specialist for the Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of New Jersey. In these roles, she continues to provide strategic counsel, editorial direction, and mission-driven communications support. Guided by both discipline and creativity, she often reflects on her belief that, “In jazz you cannot make a wrong note, because there are no wrong notes.”
