Carlsbad, CA

Ahead of The 2020 NAMM Show, the global gathering of music and pro audio products and entertainment technologies, top sound manufacturers will return to present a showcase of line array and loudspeaker technologies at the second annual Loudspeaker System Showcase. Held Thursday – Saturday at the annual Show (January 16-19, 2020) and under the guidance of the team from Live Sound International magazine, the systems showcase will take place inside the Anaheim Convention Center arena, giving participants the opportunity to demonstrate both their flown and portable systems in a real-world setting to a mix of industry professionals.

“We’re really pleased to be partnering with NAMM again in 2020 on the Loudspeaker Showcase introduced last year to provide NAMM attendees with a beneficial and truly unique experiential engagement,” states Kevin McPherson, president of the Pro Audio Division of EH Media, which publishes Live Sound International and ProSoundWeb. “It’s also a major step forward for loudspeaker manufacturers whose products must be heard to be truly appreciated.”

In total, fourteen participating companies will have the opportunity to showcase both their flown and portable systems as part of the Showcase. Participating companies include Alcons Audio, BASSBOSS, Crest Audio, dbTechnologies, Electro-Voice, FBT, Martin Audio, Proel, RCF, Sound Barrier, TW Audio, Verity Audio, and VOID Acoustics.

"After great success in 2019, Verity Audio is excited to again be able to demonstrate our products side by side with worthy competitors at NAMM,” shares Greg Hockman, managing director. “Having so many qualified audio professionals able to critically listen to multiple manufacturers in this venue resulted in immediate sales for us. in 2020 we will again feature our flagship IWAC220 Line Array and SUB136TP Active Subwoofer, the AC12.3 Active Steerable Line Source, as well as a new Subwoofer the SUB118TL designed to fly with the IWAC220.”

The Loudspeaker System Showcase will run two compact system showcases and one portable system showcase per day, Thursday – Saturday of The NAMM Show. NAMM Show attendees can also engage with the companies in their respected spaces in the Showcase to trial portable systems.
