NAMM Announces Call for Entries for 2nd Annual Top 100 Dealer Awards to be Held at 2012 Summer NAMM

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) announced today that it is now accepting entries for its Second Annual “Top 100 Dealer Awards” which will take place at the 2012 Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, Tenn. this July. This exciting program, now in its second year, will recognize outstanding NAMM Retailers during a gala event on Friday evening of Summer NAMM.

Retailers selected as one of the Top 100 will be honored and from that select group, additional "best of" awards will be bestowed in a number of categories culminating in the naming of the “Dealer of the Year." Last year, Senseney Music in Wichita, Kan. took home top honors. This year, Lori Supine, president of Senseney Music, will help judge the competition.

NAMM retailers can enter to be selected by the panel of industry expert judges as one of the "Top 100 Dealers" between March 1 and April 30 online at https://ww1.namm.org/summer/2012/top-dealer. Please see official rules for all details. All NAMM retailers selected as "Top 100 Dealers" will be invited to the exclusive “Top 100 Dealer Awards” dinner and ceremony on Friday, July 13, 2012.

Once again, during the ceremony, NAMM will announce the winners of the “Best Of” categories including:

    • Best Curb Appeal
    • Best Merchandising & Display
    • Best Ad
    • Best Use of Social Media
    • Best Sales Promotion
    • Best Website
    • Support Music Local Advocacy Award
    • Wanna Play “Music Makes a Difference” Award
    • Best Emerging Dealer “Rookie of the Year” Award
    • NAMM Dealer of the Year
