Yesterday at The 2018 NAMM Show, 33 NAMM member companies were honored with the NAMM Milestone Award. The award, presented by NAMM President and CEO Joe Lamond, recognizes music businesses that have flourished through changing business environments to reach a noteworthy anniversary.

Of the awardees, Lamond said: “On behalf of all NAMM members, it is truly an honor to recognize these individuals and businesses for their service to both the music products industry and to their community. Each has demonstrated the perseverance and passion to stand the test of time, inspire countless others and create a more musical world for the benefit of all.”

Milestone awardees included The Clarke Tinwhistle Co. of the U.K., at 175 years in business; the Estonia Piano Factory at 150 years; and Vicks Litho, Izzo Instrumentos Muciais, and Time Products Company at 100 years. A complete list of all Milestone honorees is included below.

Two other awards were also presented to honor the contributions of industry members: The Believe in Music Award is given to recognize the dedication of individuals and businesses which demonstrate a commitment to music and music making.
