NAMM Celebrates the World’s 100 Top Music Product Dealers
The Top 100 Dealer Awards celebrate innovation, best business practices and commitment music
The world’s top music retailers may stand up and take a bow as the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) recognizes 2015's Top 100 Dealers. The industry will celebrate the 2015 Top 100 Dealers, 2015’s Dealer of the Year and seven other category winners during the Top 100 Dealer Awards Friday night, July 10 during Summer NAMM.
“The NAMM Top 100 Dealers go beyond running a successful business, they are ambassadors for music and music education in their communities,” said Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM. “They generously share their passion for music with both longtime customers and those just beginning their musical journey. What they add to their communities can best be measured in the number of lives positively impacted through music.”
An independent panel of judges evaluated retailers’ submissions across categories including customer service, music advocacy, store design and promotions. NAMM’s Top 100 Dealers demonstrate overall merit and a consistent understanding of industry best practices. The judges then score the nominees to determine the category winners and Dealer of the Year that will be announced at the July 10 Awards event.
Excellence in eight categories will be recognized during the Top 100 Dealer Awards at Summer NAMM. New categories Best Store Turnaround, and Best Customer Service will be awarded alongside Best Store Design, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Engagement, Best Emerging Dealer, Music Makes a Difference Award, and Dealer of the Year at the Top 100 Dealer Awards.
All NAMM members are invited to the Top 100 Dealer Awards. Register online for Summer NAMM: https://ww1.namm.org/summer/2015/badges.
