NAMM Congratulates the 2021 Top 100 Dealers
- Awards to be celebrated at Summer NAMM - first industry gathering in eighteen months to bring friends and colleagues together in Nashville -
The National Association of Music Merchants is pleased to announce the list of enterprising and resilient music product retailers to be honored at the organization's Top 100 Dealer Awards. Now in its eleventh year, the annual awards honor retailers worldwide who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their stores, neighborhoods, and customers and share in a vision of creating a more musical world through their local communities.
"In the past year, we saw the world come to a near stand-still, yet the heart of the independent music retailer stood at the ready to serve its community and help to inspire, console, and provide joy at a time when so many aspects of life were changing,” said Joe Lamond, NAMM President and CEO. “We applaud all retailers for the vital role that they serve to their communities and beyond."
This year's celebration, along with the announcement of "Best of" and "Dealer of the Year" awards, will be held at Summer NAMM in Nashville at the Music City Center on Thursday, July 15. "Best of" award categories include "Best Community Retail Store;" "Best Customer Service;" "Best Store Design;" "Best Marketing and Sales Promotion;" "Best Online Engagement;" "Innovation Award;" and the "Music Makes a Difference Award." All submissions will be evaluated for effectiveness in marketing, customer engagement, and innovation in retail by a panel of independent judges. From the finalists of these categories, one store will be recognized with the coveted "Dealer of the Year" Award.
Summer NAMM offers leading professional development sessions from NAMM U and TEC Tracks, member-focused events, and networking opportunities against the backdrop of new music and pro audio products from top brands providing connections, tools, and strategies to help reignite business under the latest in health and safety protocols.
