Education and business programs to be presented at NAMM Musikmesse Russia and Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia 2013. Three-day public music festival joins the exciting roster of events. Inaugural ProLight + Sound NAMM Russia Forum announced

NAMM Musikmesse Russia is pleased to announce the participation of Taylor Guitars, Hal Leonard, König&Meyer, Beltmann Piano, Avallon/GV United, MixArt, and Hunter Musical Instruments as well as many others, at its premier show, to be held May 16-19, 2013. Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia 2013, which focuses on technologies and services for events, installation and production, runs May 16-18, 2013 at IEC Expocentre, Moscow.

In addition to showcasing leading products, both NAMM Musikmesse Russia and Prolight + Sound Forum Russia will feature comprehensive education, entertainment and business programs and sessions.

The international conference, “Unlimited Musical Space” will be held May 18, 2013 at NAMM Musikmesse Russia. The conference will cover the following topics:

  • Music education and media education in music for all ages
  • Inclusive music education (Within the framework of the on-site session of the Group of Friends of United Nations Convention on rights of physically challenged people and the managing committee of the Global Agreement of United Nations in Russia)
  • Round table “Music Space is Our Connection” – topical issues of cooperation between business and authority institutions, civil society, mass media, parliamentary parties and traditional denominations in music education policy, as well as patronage in music

For the first time NAMM Musikmesse Russia will host the Moscow Music School Principals Meeting, during which the heads of Moscow Music schools will discuss the topical issues related to music education promotion and advocacy, and will interact with leading producers at NAMM Musikmesse Russia.

The International Society of Music Education (ISME) will hold an executive meeting during the show, bringing to Moscow global thought leaders in the field of music education, music education research, and advocacy for music education.

 NAMM Musikmesse Russia will see the second edition of NAMM University classes at the show. Tailor-made for Russian retailers, the NAMM University classes will feature international and Russian industry experts, sharing their success stories in a series of peer training courses.

The 2013 show will also see the premiere of a Public Music Festival for music lovers at NAMM Musikmesse Russia. Held over 3 days, the Public Music Festival will focus on a different music style each day.

Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia exhibitors include Clay Paky, Sommer Cable RUS, SHowTex, Oktava, Robe, Martin Professional, SIM, Prolyte, 2M Theater- und Veranstaltungstechnik GmbH. The premier show gathers leading manufacturers and distributors of lightning and sound equipment to introduce current developments in the industry.

The first Prolight + Sound NAMM Forum Russia will be held at the show and will gather leading manufacturers and distributors of lighting and sound equipment who introduce current developments in the industry. It will cover the following topics:

  • Automatic control systems for rental companies
  • Coordination of all technical services coordination between creative and technical department in rental companies
  • Media controllers
  • Wireless canals characteristics
  • Amplification system selection criteria
  • 3D surround-sound stereo systems areas of application
  • Decentralized networks

A series of training seminars for event agencies specialists will also be available at Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia.
