NAMM, the International Music Products Association, and Yamaha today awarded a check for $330,000 to NAMM’s nonprofit charities benefiting from The 2003 NAMM Concert Honoring Sir Elton John, presented by Yamaha.
The proceeds from the concert, which was held in Anaheim, Calif., during the 2003 NAMM Show in January, were given to the American Music Conference (AMC), the International Foundation for Music Research (IFMR), the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation and the Museum of Making Music to support their missions of music education and research.
