NAMM Show Legal Terms and Conditions

By registering for and attending The NAMM Show (“Event”), you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Attendance Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not register for or attend the Event.
Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event is voluntary.
You knowingly assume all risks associated with participation in the Event, including travel to and from the Event, attendance at educational sessions, concerts, receptions, networking events, demonstrations, exhibit halls, transportation, and other Event-related activities.
Release, Waiver, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Event Management, the National Association of Music Merchants, the venue, exhibitors, sponsors, contractors, volunteers, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, actions, judgments, or causes of action arising out of or related to your attendance at or participation in the Event, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, property damage, economic loss, or other damages, except to the extent resulting from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of a Released Party.
You further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- your violation of these Terms and Conditions;
- your negligent or intentional acts or omissions;
- your violation of applicable laws; or
- damage or injury caused by you to persons or property.
Intellectual Property
Attendees agree to respect all copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights belonging to exhibitors, presenters, sponsors, artists, performers, and Event Management.
Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of proprietary information is prohibited.
Force Majeure
Event Management shall not be responsible for cancellation, postponement, interruption, modification, or reduced access to the Event resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, earthquake, labor disputes, governmental actions, terrorism, war, civil unrest, public health emergencies, utility failures, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.
Event Management reserves the right to modify the Event as necessary under such circumstances.
Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be processed in accordance with the Event Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Event Management arising out of or relating to the Event shall not exceed the amount of the registration fees actually paid by the attendee.
Event Management shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Modification of Terms
Event Management reserves the right to revise or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your registration and attendance shall govern your participation.
Acceptance
By selecting “I Agree” during registration, you acknowledge that you have read these Legal Terms and Conditions, understand them, and agree to be legally bound by them as a condition of registration and attendance at The NAMM Show.
