Alp Selim was born in Pristina, Kosovo, in 1972. A longtime leader in the international music products industry, Alp joined Zuhal Music in 2002 as Import & Export Manager and has played an integral role in the company’s growth and global partnerships. Throughout his career, Alp has helped expand Zuhal’s portfolio by establishing and strengthening relationships with many of the industry’s most respected manufacturers, including Steinway & Sons, Ibanez, Roland, Fender, Music Man, and Ernie Ball. Fluent in four languages, Alp earned a degree in Foreign Trade and Human Resources from Anadolu University. His broad knowledge of musical instruments, combined with his experience as a guitarist, has contributed to his success in representing leading brands and serving the needs of musicians and retailers throughout the region. Colleagues have long appreciated his sanguine outlook, particularly as he has cultivated lasting relationships with international partners and helped guide the company through continued growth. Alp has participated in specialized training at the Steinway & Sons piano factory in Hamburg, Germany, where he studied piano production and sales. He also served on the development team for Roland’s Oriental Keyboard EXR-46OR, introduced in 2006. Over more than two decades with Zuhal Music, Alp has continued to oversee international business operations, foster relationships with global partners, and contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion and recognition within the worldwide music products industry.
