His deep expertise and longstanding presence in the field have earned him the respect of fellow professional guitarists, who regard him as a trusted authority on instruments and gear.

Tolga Özoğlu is a music industry marketing executive and former professional drummer with more than 20 years of leadership experience at Zuhal Müzik, Turkey’s leading MI retailer, which has served the industry for nearly 50 years with more than 10 stores nationwide. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University and an MBA from Istanbul University. Ali Şimşeker is a third-generation representative of Zuhal Müzik and has been an integral part of the company for 29 years. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles across multiple departments, gaining comprehensive insight into retail operations, brand development, and organizational strategy before assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Ali leads the company’s long-term strategic vision, focusing on sustainable growth, innovation, and the continued modernization of Turkey’s leading musical instruments retailer.

Ali Sungurlu graduated from Koç University with a degree in Economics before pursuing his master’s degree at the University of California, San Diego. Following the completion of his studies, he returned to Turkey to join the family business, Zuhal Müzik. Since 2006, Ali has played a key role in the company’s growth and organizational development, building his own team and leading a strategic restructuring process. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, specializing in finance while also overseeing the import and development of professional sound and lighting systems.

Umur Sungurlu graduated from Koç University with a degree in Business Administration in 2014. During his studies, he completed a semester of marketing coursework at UCLA, spending four months in Los Angeles — a city that continues to inspire his creative perspective. Born into a family deeply rooted in music, Umur explored multiple instruments from an early age, with piano as his primary instrument. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts through his fourth year before shifting his focus toward theater and acting, performing in various musical and stage productions.
