Anneliese Land discovered her passion for music education while participating in her school band program as a fourth-grade student, an experience that inspired her lifelong goal of becoming a music teacher and band director. Through her studies at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and later at Western Illinois University, Anneliese developed strong skills in music education, euphonium performance, communication, and creative design. She went on to serve as a band director in K–12 schools before teaching and mentoring future music educators at the university level. Alongside her teaching career, Anneliese combined her passion for music with expertise in marketing, graphic design, and educational outreach, helping organizations better connect with music educators through thoughtful communication and innovative projects. As Music Education Projects Associate for GIA Publications, Inc., she continues supporting teachers and music programs nationwide. In recognition of her dedication and potential as a leader in music education, Anneliese received a Women of NAMM scholarship to attend the 2026 NAMM Show.
