Bob Kilpatrick wrote his first song in the fourth grade and went on to pen one of the most popular worship songs in the last fifty years. In his early twenties, Bob and his wife performed Christian songs at churches and special events around the country. Before getting on stage the couple sang together a little song Bob wrote as a prayer. That song, “In My Life Lord Be Glorified,” became a hit when it was recorded by Maranatha! Music in the 1970s and then sung in churches around the world. Bob also wrote a column in Christian Musician Magazine while still performing and writing religious songs. Along the way, he came up with an idea for a hand drum shaped like a guitar which you can wear around your neck, as well as inventing adhesive guitar picks that can stick to the side or top of the guitar to limit the picks being lost. His WalkaBout hand drum won the "Gotta Stock It" category during the 2019 NAMM Show Best In Show session.
