Gator Cases

Leanne Chu was born in Hong Kong and began taking piano lessons when she was three years old. After college and moving to Florida, she joined the Gator Cases team where she could apply her passion for music along with her Chinese language skills to product development for the company’s manufacturing factories.

Jerry Freed began working in the music industry along with Tommy Moore. Together they promoted percussive instruments for schools and built Kasuga International in the 1960s. Jerry later created Freed International before deciding to concentrate on instrument case products. When he launched Gator Cases some questioned the market size, however, Jerry rose to the occasion in true Freed fashion by growing the market with a series of specialized cases both hard and soft side, rarely available in the industry at the time.

Ken Fuente is among the music industry’s top sales reps!  He has established himself as an innovative and creative salesman who has befriended his competition to learn all he could about the business and share his thoughts whenever possible.  He has won several awards during his career including the Music and Sound Retailer Rep of the Year Award and has worked with St. Louis Music, Peavey Amps and Gator Cases.  Ken was also a sales manager at Peavey, Samson and KORG USA.  Above all, Ken loves the people of the music industry, which is a key factor in his success because of the man

Rob Garofala has been a devoted gearhead since childhood, a label he wears proudly. A drummer, guitarist, and recording engineer, Rob’s multifaceted background made him a natural fit for his role as product specialist at Gator Cases. Music runs in his blood—his father played accordion and keyboards, sparking young Rob’s fascination with sound and instrumentation. After experimenting with clarinet and bass in school, he found his true voice on the drums during his senior year of high school. Katie Loesch discovered her love for music through the French horn, which she played throughout school before earning her college degrees in music performance. By day, she excels as the Human Resources Director for Gator Cases, and by night, she brings her artistry to life by playing with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Some of her fondest memories include the exhilarating marching band competitions of high school, the immersive experiences of orchestra summer camp, and the profound influence of her inspiring French horn instructors in college.
