Jerry Goldenson has always had a love for music growing up and has many fond memories of playing drums in clubs and weddings as early as 12 years old. He later toured and recorded with many bands over the years but found a home in the music industry in a retail music store as his day job at Pianos N’ Stuff Music. That was the start of a musical journey that married his business acumen and education with his love of music. As with many of our leaders, working in retail was only the beginning.

Steve Grecco is a veteran of the music products industry, boasting more than 30 years of experience. As an early leader in the growth and development of LP (Latin Percussion), he has left an indelible mark on the industry. His expertise extends to collaborations with notable brands, such as KHS, DW and presently KHS/Mapex. Beyond his corporate achievements, Steve shines as a rock star under the alias Steve Zing. He has graced stages worldwide as a member of Danzig, showcasing his talent and passion for music. Steve has also made his mark as the drummer for Samhain and Mourning Noi

Tracy Hoeft is a seasoned music aficionado, ignited by an early fascination with rhythm and melody. During his formative years, Tracy immersed himself in the world of music, commencing his rhythmic journey at Paragon Music in Florida, where he honed his drumming skills at the tender age of 15. His fervor for music only deepened as he embarked on his first pilgrimage to The NAMM Show in 1984, where he was captivated by the pulse of innovation coursing through the industry.

Wu H. Hsieh is the president of KHS Musical Instruments. KHS was named for the Chinese words Kong for contribution, Hsue for school and Sheh for society, therefore clearly stating the company’s goal of contributing to school and society. KHS produces a long line of brands such as Jupiter, Mapex, Linko and Butterfly Reeds. Under Wu Hsieh’s direction the company, which was established in 1930, has supported several music education programs around the globe. Wu Hsieh was also the first international NAMM Board member when he joined the board in 2003.  

Jim Phiffer accepted a position at Pearl Drums which would lead him to a 20 plus year career in the music business. While at Pearl, Jim was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, eventually making his way to President and CEO of the US division. Jim shared his talent for selling and his love of music with Mapex, Ludwig/Musser, as well as Taye Drums. Jim recently returned to his first musical love: playing guitar and performing in front of audiences.

Kevin Philbin is the Director of Sales & Marketing for KHS America, located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. His musical journey began as a child growing up with a dad who played drums. When Kevin was 10 years old he received a Gibson Guitar from Jack’s Music in Red Bank, New Jersey. He would later work for Gibson in Nashville for over 16 years, playing a key role in several product launches and marketing campaigns. Herlin Riley is a native of New Orleans and a continuing link in the chain of great jazz drummers. Herlin was raised in a musical household by his grandparents and originally played the trumpet in the family group, The Lastie Brothers Combo, as well as unknowingly playing in the same youth marching band with Wynton Marsalis. Herlin watched his uncle play drums in church and would eventually switch over to drums while on tour with a group in Texas. Herlin went on to play two stints with Ahmad Jamal from 1982 to 1987 and from 2009 to Jamal's retirement in 2014. Wynton and Herlin reu

Brent Rosborough can trace his family roots in music back to his father who played during World War II. Brent picked up the guitar when he was eight years old playing in 70s rock bands before and during college. After this he began working in music retail in Texas, having his own store, Rosborough Music, for over four years. At that time Bill Ross of Jupiter Band Instruments approached Brent for his help with customer service, which led to his long-standing gig at KHS Musical Instrument Company.
