Joe Goodman began playing gigs around the Los Angeles area since he was very young with his primary instruments being the piano and trumpet. With a Marching Band scholarship for college in Hawaii, Joe performed in hundreds of clubs and hotels throughout the islands and created a show band called Solid Gold. After college he returned to Los Angeles where he worked for a local piano dealer before establishing his own retail store, Goodman Music in 1977. Conrad Janis played a music store owner on the hit TV sitcom Mork and Mindy. Conrad, who became a trombonist as a teenager, played Mindy’s father, the owner of a musical instrument store set in Colorado. Between takes, Conrad often jammed with Robin Williams who, according to Conrad, played a mean blues harmonica! All throughout his long career, he played musicians in a number of movies and on several television programs. Sondra Blanchard comes to music through theatre. She has worked in regional theatre and internationally as an actor, coach, writer, and director. Over the past 10 years, she has specialized in creating original work that often includes live music. She especially enjoyed creative collaborations with her musician husband, Shawn Cupolo. Shawn worked at HB Woodsongs for 14 years, which is where Sondra and Shawn met. They bought HB Woodsongs in 2017, and it was Shawn's passion until his death at the end of 2021. Sondra has taken over as sole owner, carrying forward the Woodsongs legacy
