Daniele Frenquelli

Daniele Frenquelli was born in Italy and grew up surrounded by music through his family’s business. His father founded Frenexport S.p.A. in 1976 as a wholesaler and distributor specializing in musical instruments made in Italy, first focusing on export markets in Germany before expanding to Asia. With music always present at home, Daniele developed a passion for the guitar at an early age. He and his brother were involved in the company from childhood, helping with simple tasks such as sweeping the warehouse, checking guitars before shipment, and labeling packages. Outside of work, the two brothers also formed their own band. As Daniele’s career developed, he played an important role in modernizing the company’s export operations, helping install new systems and supporting the development of several product brands, including those in the professional lighting sector. He also helped expand the distribution of Frenexport products throughout Italy and Spain. In recognition of the company’s remarkable history, Frenexport was honored by NAMM with a Milestone Award during its 50th anniversary in 2026.
