Fred Schiff

Fred Schiff proudly carries on the legacy of his parents, Mel and Sally Schiff, who opened a small, service-oriented music store in Tamarac, Florida, in 1976. Focused on band and orchestra instruments, the store quickly became a trusted resource for local school music programs. Today, Fred leads the business with the same unwavering dedication to music education, while expanding its mission through active involvement in local and state government advocacy. A passionate and persuasive voice for the arts, Fred has traveled to Washington, D.C., for NAMM’s Fly-In and delivered influential presentations, becoming a trailblazing music education advocate. His commitment extends to over two decades of involvement with the Florida Music Education Association, where he has served on the board and helped strengthen ties between businesses and educators through the FMEA Corporate and Academic Partner Membership program. Fred’s tireless work continues to ensure that music remains a vital part of Florida’s educational landscape.
