Jen Shirk

Jen Shirk grew up in Pennsylvania playing in her school bands, and her love of music led her to earn a music degree and become a band director. She brought that classroom experience to Menchey Music Service, starting as Music Lesson Studios Coordinator before she was promoted to store manager. Jen later returned to her roots in music instruction as School of Music Program Manager. The role was a perfect fit, bringing together her fervent passion for teaching and the business skills she had built over the years. Through the program, Jen helps students of all ages discover the joy of making music. In 2026 she attended the Women of NAMM Leadership Summit, an experience she valued for both professional and personal growth. Learning alongside other women in the industry and building new relationships broadened her perspective and reinforced the value of supporting one another.
