Michele Elefante was in junior high school when her father, Al, a passionate musician and skilled repairman, fulfilled his dream of opening a family-run music store. From the start, Michele played an active role in helping the business flourish, gaining early experience in retail and community engagement. Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit around her, she later opened a charming, customer-focused ice cream shop, which became an invaluable training ground for budgeting, management, and attentive service. Eventually, Michele and her sister Stephanie became co-owners of the music store, working collaboratively to broaden its instrument offerings and enrich its music lesson programs. Michele takes particular pride in the meaningful, long-term relationships she has cultivated with music educators and local schools—connections that have positively impacted countless young students on their musical journeys. Her dedication to nurturing these partnerships reflects her deep commitment to music education and her belief in its transformative power.
