Sadie Chrismer

Sadie Chrismer began her musical journey in fifth grade when she picked up the oboe, and she played it all through school. Her love of music led her to VanderCook College of Music, where she earned a degree in music education. Although Sadie enjoyed the idea of teaching, she found great satisfaction in supporting music education from behind the scenes. She found her perfect role at Quinlan & Fabish Music Company as a School Service Representative. As a school road rep, she is dedicated to helping band directors reach their goals and helping students find the right instrument. That work lets her combine her training as a music educator with her fervent desire to help young musicians succeed. In 2026 Sadie attended the Women of NAMM Leadership Summit. In her NAMM Oral History interview, she reminisced about her early days on the oboe and shared her joy in serving the band programs that make music possible for so many students.
