Tayfun Çağlar is a Turkish musician, songwriter, and music products professional whose career has successfully bridged the worlds of performance and retail. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1965, Tayfun discovered his love of music at an early age through school choirs, where singing first sparked a lifelong passion for performing. After moving to Türkiye, his musical interests expanded to the guitar, leading him to pursue both instrumental performance and songwriting. In 1990, he co-founded the influential Turkish rock band Kesmeşeker, whose thoughtful songwriting and distinctive sound earned the group a respected place in Türkiye’s contemporary music scene. Over the years, Tayfun performed extensively, collaborated with many of the country’s leading musicians, and contributed to numerous recordings while appearing on concert stages throughout the nation. In 1996, Tayfun brought his performing experience into the music products industry when he joined Zuhal Müzik. His unique perspective as both a working musician and industry professional has enabled him to help musicians find the instruments and equipment best suited to their artistic goals. His firsthand understanding of performers’ needs has made him a trusted resource for countless artists and customers. Throughout his career, Tayfun has remained devoted to encouraging music making, whether on stage, in the recording studio, or through his work with Zuhal Müzik.
