Niclas Luthman has a long history in the music industry. Beginning in 1989 at a NAMM show, Niclas started his distribution company by "accidentally" taking on the M-Audio line for Scandinavia (the original business was to develop software and accessories for synthesizers). Niclas built on this foundation, adding more lines including Mackie, Gibson, Alesis and Line 6 before moving into the music retail end. Vanessa Mering took a summer job at Alesis while studying at UCLA. That position was her introduction to the music industry for which she has been a vital part of ever since. With a focus on marketing campaigns for a wide range of innovative products, Vanessa worked at M-Audio and Line 6 before being hired by Harman.
