Ian Harvey has served as Executive Officer of the Australian Music Products Association since taking over for Rob Walker in 1999. Since that time, Ian has been on the front lines in the world-wide effort to expand the music industry globally. Michael Jago has always had a great deal of respect for music retailers and can boast of working with several over his long career. He started retail with one of his early mentors in the music business, Paul Hayward and later moved to the famous Australian music store chain Brash’s Music. He was later introduced to the world of wholesaling initially with Electric Factory, which is the company that brought a young 20-year-old Michael to his first NAMM Show (he has a great story of seeing Dimebag Darrell at the show). Joe Lamond has been a music maker since he was a young boy. After touring with several bands and rock performers, Joe became the manager of Skip’s Music in Sacramento, California, before gaining the attention of NAMM, who used his talents to strengthen the Market Development Department. After a series of successful programs including Piano 300 and NAMM’s partnership with Sesame Street, Joe was asked to take the role of CEO in 2001 when Larry Linkin retired.

Alex Masso's musical journey began in childhood, inspired by his family's love for music. Introduced to the drums at 10, he found his rhythm and explored genres like Grunge Rock, Indie Rock, the Blues, and Punk Rock during his formative years. Alex co-founded a rock band with friends and developed a passion for mentoring aspiring musicians. Appointed as the Executive Officer of the Australian Music Association, Alex brings a wealth of experience from roles in the Music Council of Australia and the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music.

Rob Walker has been a leader in the global music products marketing that seemed to shift into high gear in the mid ‘90s when he was CEO of the Australian Music Association (AMA). Rob was instrumental in growing the Association’s influence and valuable relationships and creating programs and special events geared towards increasing the number of active music makers in Australia. Several of his programs were showcased at the Global Economic Summit in 1995.
