Winners in 31 technical and creative achievement categories were announced at the 33rd Annual NAMM TEC AWARDS presented annually by the NAMM Foundation and held Saturday, January 27 in Anaheim, CA. The annual event recognizes the individuals, companies and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games and multi-media. Comedian and multi-instrumentalist Demetri Martin hosted.
Yesterday at The 2018 NAMM Show, 33 NAMM member companies were honored with the NAMM Milestone Award. The award, presented by NAMM President and CEO Joe Lamond, recognizes music businesses that have flourished through changing business environments to reach a noteworthy anniversary.
Earlier today at the Annual Meeting of Members at The 2018 NAMM Show, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) welcomed eight new board members to the organization’s Board of Directors.
