At 19 years old, in the early 1970s, he came to town and was recording in a studio on his first day. Within that year, he played on his first of many million-selling songs: David Loggin’s, “Please Come to Boston.” Becoming a member of the session musicians, known as The Nashville Cats, Steve played guitar on thousands of hit reco
