The NAMM Foundation has announced stand-up comedian and entertainer extraordinaire Demetri Martin as the host of the prestigious 33rd Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards (NAMM TEC Awards), Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Anaheim, CA during The NAMM Show, the global crossroads of the music products, pro audio and sound, and event technology industries.

At The 2018 NAMM Show, Audinate, the creators of DanteTM, the multi-channel digital media networking protocol, will present three progressive levels of the Dante Certification Program and an insider “tips and tricks” with Dante.

The official 17th Annual Parnelli Awards ballot is now online and open to voting from subscribers of Projection, Lights and Staging News and Front of House magazines. The winners in each category will be announced at the Parnelli Awards on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.

Make Music Winter, a free, outdoor music-making celebration featuring 12 participatory musical parades across New York City on the winter solstice, returns this year on Thursday, Dec. 21. The all-day musical celebration on the shortest day of the year brings together New Yorkers of all ages, musical abilities and genres to sing, play, march and dance their way across streets, parks, plazas and other public spaces citywide.

The NAMM Foundation is pleased to present 94 exceptional college music students with the President’s Innovation Award.
